General information.

One of the significant steps of market entry process is registration of representative office (RO). RO will allow your company to develop more effectively: good team of product managers, rep’s, marketing managers leading by general director will increase sales and develop more profitable strategy on the local market.
There are two main types of the RO:

RO without commercial activity (1) is very good to start business. That type of office can only spent funds – marketing activities, advertisement, rep’s etc. Contracts for import of the products in that case are signed directly between headquarters and big local wholesalers. 

RO with right of commercial activity (2)can receive finances from local buyers, though control of such type is more complicated. From other hand – products can be sold directly from local storage even to pharmacies.

Everything that is in property of RO, independently of type, is the property of HQ Company, including registration certificates.  

RO in Ukraine can be registered during 30-120 days depending on your intentions and budget.
